This windmill, known as "New Windmill", was the starting point of our cross country hike on Perry Mesa to the Indian ruins and petroglyphs at Perry Tank Canyon.

Hiking from the hill top southwest toward Perry Tank Canyon this rabbitbrush (Chrysothamnus sp.) in seed provides a little bit green in an otherwise drap landscape this time of year.
